Hauben Bench
Hauben is an elegant outdoor bench which combines the timelessness of the English garden bench with the tactile refinement of Scandinavian wood lounge chairs. These qualities give Hauben a simplicity and sophistication which feels both traditional and contemporary. The Hauben bench is particularly well suited to public projects. The seat height, back angle and outstretched arms provide excellent comfort which works for all ages. Furthermore, Hauben has a casual lounge-like feel quite different from other wood benches which quietly suggests a different mindset, a more relaxed way to enjoy the simple pleasure of being outdoors.
Crafted using sustainably sourced FLEGT licenced teak, grown on plantations with Indonesian Legal Wood certification, the close grain and natural oils in teak make it the perfect timber for outdoors. For every Hauben bench sold we are supporting the Eden Reforestation Projects that aim to plant 500 million trees every year, providing stable employment in areas of extreme poverty.
Designed with Andrew Jones, the bench is available to order from Jones&deLeval.
